The Parochial Church Council

 

Definition of a Parochial Church Council:

A Parochial Church Council is a group of members of the local church who, on behalf of the Parish, maintain the Christian wellbeing of all parishioners.

Duties of a Parochial Church Council:

To ensure the spiritual wellbeing of the Parish

To uphold the fabric of the Church and the maintenance of the Church and Churchyard.

The current Parochial Church Council of St.Mary's Church are as follows:

Chairman:  The Revd. Liz Law

Secretary: Lady Rhodes

Treasurer: Mr. Gerald Morley.

Council Members: Mrs. P. Barker, Mr. I. Bateman, Mrs. M. Cytacki, Mrs. L. Morley, Mr.M. Newall, Mrs. Anne Nicholls, Mr. P. Peacey, Sir Peregrine Rhodes, Mrs. D. Smith.

Meetings of the Parochial Church Council

The PCC meet every three months during the year with an Annual Church Meeting held in the Church in April of each year.
